Sharjah Club dominates Men's Taekwondo Elite Championship

Sharjah24: Sharjah Club's champions topped the Men's Elite Taekwondo Championship, securing three gold medals out of a total of 20 medals won by the team across various categories. The tournament, hosted at Ajman Youth Center, featured 100 athletes representing nine clubs from across the UAE.

The club's youth team, known as "Ashbal Al Malek," also excelled, claiming the top spot in their category with four gold medals, two silver medals, and four bronze medals. Meanwhile, the junior category secured second place with two golds, three silvers, and two bronzes.

Sharjah Club's athletes demonstrated their dominance in the men's, youth, and junior categories, ultimately winning the overall excellence trophy in a highly competitive and spirited atmosphere.

Engineer Suleiman Abdulrahman Al Hajri, a board member and head of the individual sports department, announced that the team has upheld its impressive record this season by securing the Elite Championship, following their recent win in the Open Federation Cup. He extended his congratulations to both the team and the individual players for their achievements.

Al Hajri reaffirmed the club's dedication to supporting all teams in their pursuit of excellence and further enhancing the legacy of Sharjah Club. He commended the exceptional efforts of the taekwondo coaching and administrative staff, who have successfully prepared the athletes for competition across all local tournaments.

He also praised the strong support of the Sharjah Sports Council for individual sports, noting their close attention to competitions and careful focus on every detail.
