Shaima Bin Taliah, board member of the Sharjah International Marine Sports Club, emphasized that this initiative is part of a larger strategy to promote innovative sports and physical activity among youth. She stated, “We are pleased to launch the first edition of the University Rowing Championship in partnership with the American University of Sharjah. This championship aims to motivate students to adopt a healthy lifestyle and promote teamwork through a fun and challenging sport like rowing.”
