The meeting took place, on Friday, at Al Dhaid Municipality headquarters, with the attendance of Jumaa Al Mughni, Chairman of Al Kharous Suburb Council; Abdullah Subai’an, Vice Chairman; along with several council members and staff. From the municipality side, His Excellency Hamad Al Tuniji, Director of Al Dhaid Municipality, and a number of department heads participated in the discussions.
This session is part of a series of coordination meetings that Al Kharous Suburb Council is conducting with service entities across Sharjah, particularly in Al Dhaid city. These meetings aim to improve service delivery, foster community partnerships, and promote sustainable development.
The meeting included a detailed review of key resident concerns in Al Kharous, particularly those related to municipal affairs. Other areas of discussion included environmental issues, infrastructure, lighting, and public facilities. In addition, several developmental proposals were put forward to help elevate the urban landscape and enhance overall quality of life in the suburb.
Jumaa Al Mughni emphasised the council’s commitment to maintaining open communication with Al Kharous residents, actively collecting their feedback, and relaying it to the relevant authorities. This approach aligns with the objectives of the Sharjah Districts Affairs Department to bridge the gap between residents and service providers.
For his part, His Excellency Hamad Al Tuniji praised the efforts of Al Kharous Suburb Council in identifying and communicating residents’ needs. He affirmed the municipality’s commitment to responding to the suggestions raised and exploring practical ways to implement them in line with available resources and approved plans.
