Sharjah24: The Social Care House for Children, part of Sharjah Social Services Department (SSSD) , has handed over the fourth child eligible for adoption in 2025 to their foster family. This humanitarian step embodies the UAE community's commitment to values of compassion and solidarity, reflecting the role of Emirati families in supporting the care of children deprived of a suitable family environment.
The adoption process followed the family's fulfillment of all the criteria and standards set by the department, which included social, psychological, and economic assessments to ensure their ability to provide a stable, safe, and nurturing environment for the child.
Hanan Al-Khayal, Director of the Social Care House for Children, emphasised that this initiative represents an important milestone in promoting humanitarian values, urging Emirati families to take the initiative in adopting children, highlighting the great reward and significant impact this step has on the child's life and the community.
