Sharjah24: Bayern Munich decisively defeated Augsburg 3-1 in the 28th round of the German Bundesliga.
Bayern managed to turn around a deficit against host Augsburg, who played with a reduced squad. This victory allows Bayern to temporarily extend their lead to 9 points ahead of Bayer Leverkusen, who are set to face Heidenheim.

Key moments
Augsburg took the lead with a goal from their Greek striker, Dimitrios Giannoulis, after half an hour. Bayern equalized through Jamal Musiala just 12 minutes later. They capitalized on Augsburg's numerical disadvantage following the red card issued to Swiss player Cedric Teuchert, allowing English forward Harry Kane to score the second goal in the 60th minute. French player Kryslen Matsima then added an own goal in the 90+3 minute.

Injury concerns
Bayern's injury woes continued as star player Jamal Musiala suffered a thigh injury in the 54th minute, putting his participation in the upcoming Champions League quarter-final against Inter Milan on Tuesday in jeopardy.
