Ramadan Padel Tennis Championship concludes with Intense Matches

Sharjah24: Mohammed Salem Al Qaseer, a member of the Sharjah Government Employees Club Board of Directors, announced the conclusion of the men's Padel Tennis Championship, part of the Club’s 2025 Ramadan tournament. The final took place on Thursday, March 21, in the presence of Sheikh Salem bin Abdulrahman Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Sharjah Ruler’s Office, with wide participation from government entities.

Notable Closing Presence

In the presence of Sheikh Salem bin Abdulrahman Al Qasimi, the Sharjah Government Employees Club concluded the men’s Padel Tennis competitions, held from March 16 to March 21, with 32 teams from various entities participating.

Details on Tournament Format

In a statement to “Sharjah24”, Al Qaseer detailed that the championship was conducted in a knockout format, showcasing 32 teams from various government entities across the emirate. BEEAH Group has secured the top position following an impressive showing in the concluding phases.

Broad Player Involvement

Al Qaseer stated that the Ramadan tournament attracted over 600 players from more than 45 government and semi-government entities. AED 84,000 was the total prize pool, allocated to the top three winning teams.

Spirit and Engagement

Al Qaseer highlighted that the tournament is designed to promote sportsmanship and strengthen institutional ties among employees of the Sharjah government. The high level of participation and positive engagement from all players and supporters received commendation, underscoring the Club’s dedication to organising a variety of sports activities aimed at fostering healthy lifestyles among employees.
