Ramadan Padel kicks off with 28 government entities

Sharjah 24: The 16th round of the men's padel championship, part of Ramadan events at the Sharjah Government Employees Club, has begun at the "Padel Arena" courts, with 34 teams representing 28 government entities in Sharjah. The men's tournament will continue until March 21, with the goal of encouraging employees to participate in sports and developing a competitive spirit.

Event divided into men’s and women’s categories

Abdullah Hassan Al-Yasi, a member of the organising committee, said in an exclusive interview with "Sharjah 24" that the event is separated into two categories: men and women. The men's competition runs from March 16 to 21, while the women's tournament was held on March 14 and 15, with considerable participation from several government teams.

Final match and awards ceremony

Al-Yasi also stated that the final match would take place on March 21 and that the top three winning teams will be awarded, with the goal of motivating participation and increasing sports competition among Sharjah government employees. The competition is part of the club's aim to foster a sports culture and increase athletic participation in the government workplace.
