Sajaya Young Ladies of Sharjah launches Ramadan initiatives

Sharjah 24: Sajaya Young Ladies of Sharjah, under the Rubu' Qarn Foundation for Creating Leaders and Innovators, extends warm Ramadan greetings and announces a series of innovative community initiatives under the campaign slogan "You Are the Light of Sharjah, and Sajaya Is Your Journey to Brilliance."

These initiatives are designed to empower young women aged 13 to 18, engaging them in activities that enhance values, skills, and creativity during the holy month.

Initiative Highlights:

Your Coffee Is On Us! Sponsored by Own's Café and in collaboration with TPT Café in Sharjah, Kalba, and Khorfakkan, young women are invited to enjoy a complimentary treat upon introducing themselves. This initiative fosters social interaction, encouraging networking among participants. Additionally, awareness materials will be distributed to inform the community about Sajaya's mission in supporting and empowering young women, alongside promoting youth entrepreneurship and supporting local businesses.
Creative Touch Through the Ramadan Rosary Making Workshop, participants will learn the art of handcrafted design, creating prayer beads inspired by the spirit of the holy month. These creations will be distributed after Taraweeh prayers to enhance family bonding and community participation, in collaboration with the Department of Islamic Affairs.
Ramadan Gathering – Interactive Challenges Every Friday, followers can look forward to unique Instagram challenges that blend fun, creativity, and generosity, offering young women the chance to win valuable prizes by sharing their Ramadan moments. In the "Global Ramadan" initiative, participants will showcase the diversity of Ramadan traditions worldwide by sharing photos and stories of Ramadan customs across various cultures, promoting openness and cultural exchange.
Touch of Loyalty at the Elderly Care Home In collaboration with the Sharjah Social Services Department, Sajaya organises a special visit to senior citizens, providing young women the opportunity to engage with the elderly, exchange conversations, and learn from their wisdom and life experiences. Handmade gifts by the participants will be presented as tokens of appreciation and respect.
The Emirati Home – A Journey into Heritage In a rich experience of identity and traditions, and in collaboration with the Sharjah Museums Authority, participants will immerse themselves in the ambiance of an authentic Emirati household. They will learn esteemed Emirati values such as generosity, hospitality, and modesty through interactive activities that highlight the beauty of national heritage and strengthen the sense of belonging.

Through these initiatives, Sajaya aims not only to offer Ramadan activities but also to inspire a generation of confident, creative young women capable of contributing to community development and building the future with a spirit of generosity and innovation.
