The impact of Sharjah Theatre Days on artistic success

Al Jasmi explained that all the successes of artists, directors, and theatre workers are closely linked to the Sharjah Theatre Days. He emphasised that it is the event that has produced so much brilliance and many creative talents in the country’s artistic scene.

The meaning of the award

The artist shared with “Sharjah 24” that the award holds significant meaning for him, comparing it to his first time standing on stage. He added, “No matter how old you are, when you work sincerely for the theatre, the award comes to you.” Al Jasmi noted that during the 34-day sessions, he had received numerous awards, both personally and through the Sharjah National Theatre Troupe. However, the greatest honour, he said, was receiving the award from His Highness Sheikh DrSultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi.
