The summit saw a distinguished attendance of more than 2,500 in-person participants and more than 4,500 online participants, including teachers, decision-makers, researchers, technology experts, from around the world, in addition to parents who are participating for the first time in shaping a comprehensive future education system in Sharjah and beyond.
The summit included four tracks that focused on vital aspects of education. In the first track, titled “Envisioning the Future of Education”, the role of artificial intelligence, the importance of strong leadership, and the role of data-driven decision-making in reimagining digital learning were explored. The discussions resulted in key recommendations including the use of data-driven decision-making, practical research, and performance improvement technologies, investing in adaptive digital learning tools to enhance personalised and inclusive education, and enhancing professional development to equip teachers with future skills.
In the second track, titled “Equity and Inclusion in Schools,” participants discussed ways to remove barriers to ensure full student participation, with a special focus on early education and inclusive leadership. Recommendations included enhancing early education through specialised training in inclusive teaching strategies and development-appropriate development, expanding teacher training in inclusive pedagogies and differentiated education, and ensuring supportive and equitable learning environments for all students at all levels.
In the third track, titled “Future-Proof and Sustainable Education,” the need for an adaptive and flexible education system was emphasised through discussions of technical and vocational education, practical learning, and industry partnerships. The sessions focused on the need to provide innovative solutions and ideas to address societal challenges by harnessing the capabilities and different visions of youth and students. Recommendations included enhancing practical education through practical training programmes and real-world experiences, enhancing education partnerships with industry to ensure curriculum relevance, and providing teachers with training on crisis management and resilience.
The fourth track, titled “Innovative Teaching and Learning Practices,” highlighted the transformative potential of experiential learning and research-based learning, supported by digital tools for differential education and strengthening links between schools and higher education institutions. Discussions resulted in recommendations that included developing essential life skills, with a focus on integrating concepts of sustainability, Arabic language, and Emirati heritage into the learning process, and enhancing professional development through research-based strategies, while providing more opportunities for teachers to gain experience and continuous growth, and preparing teachers with crisis management skills and resilience training.
These recommendations aim to set a clear roadmap for transformative progress in education, as they seek to ensure that education systems are more inclusive, innovative, and future-ready, by integrating advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence, enhancing professional development, and encouraging collaborative partnerships between the public and private sectors.
The summit highlighted the urgent need to build a comprehensive, adaptive, and future-ready education system. The recommendations, which focus on integrating artificial intelligence, enhancing robust professional development, implementing comprehensive policies, and creating educational pathways linked to the labour market, provide a clear roadmap for transformative progress.
As stakeholders move forward, continued collaboration will be crucial to transforming these visions into lasting and effective change, ensuring that education remains accessible, equitable and empowering for all students.
Strategic partnerships are a key part of the success of the Sharjah International Summit on Improvement in Education, with several partnerships signed with leading institutions across multiple sectors to support the educational process and develop teaching staff. The number of partnerships for this edition reached 28, including distinguished institutions such as the University of Kalba, Emirates Researchers Centre for Research and Studies, Diglossia, Edulink+, IBT, Measuring Dhad, Renaissance GL Assessment, the British Council, Victoria International School of Sharjah, Al-Futtaim Education, iSchool, and Project U, among others.
The commitment of the summit partners to education development reflects the growing collaborative efforts between different sectors, with the aim of improving learning experiences in Sharjah and the UAE.
In a related context, SEA announced the launch date of the fifth edition of Sharjah International Summit on Improvement in Education, which is scheduled to be held from February 14-15, 2026.

The Academy is keen to obtain academic accreditation for its programmes and to form local and international partnerships with the most prestigious institutions, as it enables the educational field to lead in the education sector, and addresses the development of professional programes that qualify teachers and school leaders in a manner that is compatible with rapid changes and in a way that monitors quality and thus ensures the best educational outcomes at all levels.
