This inauguration is part of the department’s Ramadan initiative, designed to accommodate the spiritual and religious needs of both residents and visitors, providing them with a serene environment to observe the holy month’s rituals in an atmosphere of faith and devotion.
Constructed with a blend of traditional Islamic design and modern architecture, the mosque complements the aesthetic of the surrounding residential complex. The structure features a 12-meter-high minaret and a circular dome. Built on a total area of 483 square meters, the mosque includes essential facilities such as ablution areas and restrooms, offering a comfortable worship experience for all visitors.
Commenting on this, Abdullah Khalifa Yaroof Al Sabousi, Chairman of the Sharjah Islamic Affairs Department, praised the timely completion of the mosque ahead of Ramadan. He emphasised that the project is part of a broader strategy to strengthen religious infrastructure across Sharjah, in line with the emirate’s development plan.
This initiative reflects the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, aiming to provide residents with easy access to mosques and enable them to perform their religious duties with ease and peace of mind.
