Sharjah 24: The 35th edition of the Sharjah Ramadan Festival 2025 will kick off tomorrow, Saturday, and run until March 31, covering all cities and regions of the emirate.

Organised by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), the festival stands out as one of the region’s most prominent cultural, social, and economic events. It features broad participation from major shopping centres, retail outlets, homegrown businesses, entrepreneurs, and small enterprises.

The festival presents a rich blend of cultural and entertainment activities that highlight the spiritual significance and festive essence of Ramadan, positioning the emirate as a premier destination to celebrate the festive spirit of the holy month.

Al Liyah Ramadan Market

Among the festival’s highlights is the “Al Liyah Ramadan Market”, which provides an immersive showcase of the UAE’s rich cultural heritage and craftsmanship. The market features a diverse display of traditional attire, handicrafts, local delicacies, household goods, and a variety of other exhibits.

Little Master Chef contest

Among the highlights is the "Little Master Chef" contest, where children and young talents will demonstrate and showcase their culinary skills over three days from March 14 to 16 at 06 Mall.

Moreover, interactive workshops will be organised for children to create Ramadan-themed handicrafts, alongside a range of entertainment events, bazaars, and food festivals hosted by shopping malls to enhance the festive spirit of Ramadan.

Ramadan Nights exhibition

This year’s Sharjah Ramadan Festival will also feature the launch of the “Ramadan Nights” exhibition at Expo Centre Sharjah on March 6, a key attraction that annually hosts more than 200 exhibitors, including major retailers and 500 international and local brands.

Cultural and entertainment programmes

Ramadan Nights promises this year a diverse lineup of cultural and entertainment programmes catering to visitors of all ages. Through the Heritage Village, the exhibition will showcase an array of traditional and cultural activities that align with the spirit of Ramadan, highlighting Emirati and Islamic customs through folk art performances, cultural competitions, and various heritage programmes.
