SCCF showcases more than 250 classic cars in its 2nd edition

Sharjah 24: Ahmed Saif bin Hanzel, Director of the Sharjah Classic Cars Museum, announced the details of the activities of the 2nd edition of the Sharjah Classic Cars Festival (SCCF), which comes under the theme “Where the Story Begins”.

Activities will continue from February 13 to 17

The festival will be held in the courtyard of the Sharjah Old Cars Club and museum, with the participation of more than 250 classic cars. The activities will continue from February 13 to 17.

Dating back to the period from 1920 to 1995

The festival offers an exceptional experience for classic car enthusiasts, as it displays more than 250 rare cars dating back to the period from 1920 to 1995, in addition to a variety of educational and entertainment activities and dialogue sessions, with free entry for all.

Ahmed bin Hanzel explained in exclusive statements to "Sharjah 24" that the participating classic cars have models ranging from 1920 to 1995, and include a distinctive group of cars, including luxury cars that were a symbol of elegance and luxury, sports cars that embodied the spirit of competition and high performance, in addition to four-wheel drive cars that were part of desert adventures, and touring cars that carried memories of travel and adventure.

Offers an integrated programme of accompanying events

He pointed out that the festival is not limited to displaying cars only, but rather offers an integrated programme of accompanying events, including educational workshops that introduce visitors to the history of classic car manufacturing and how to care for them, in addition to recreational activities for children that allow them to enjoy fun interactive experiences, along with dialogue sessions in which car experts and enthusiasts participate, to exchange experiences and discuss the history of classic cars and their development.

Free for everyone

The Director of the Sharjah Classic Cars Museum added that entry to the festival is free for everyone, and there are free parking spaces, to create an enjoyable opportunity for visitors and classic car lovers.
