Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Lights Festival (SLF) continues to captivate the public in its 14th edition, organised by the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority. So far, the festival has illuminated 12 locations across the Emirate, transforming them into vibrant artistic scenes.

The Festival serves as a unique creative platform where artists present light-based and interactive artworks, conveying meaningful messages that resonate deeply with visitors.

Highlighted shows and visual experiences

The festival features stunning shows, including the “Story of the Valley” at Al Dhaid Fort. This show takes audiences on a magical journey through time, reflecting the unity and resilience of the land, intertwined with the oral traditions that preserved its history. Another mesmerising show, “Light of the East,” uses 3D projection technology to tell the story of Al Rafisah Dam and Khorfakkan City, symbolising the spirit of today’s new generation.

Stunning 3D projection and water shows

The “Harmony of Arts” show at Al Tayari Mosque in Dibba transforms the mosque into a dazzling visual masterpiece. This captivating display combines intricate geometric patterns and vibrant colours through 3D projection technology. Additionally, the “Harmony of the Ocean” at Al Hafiya Lake in Kalba offers a breathtaking kayaking adventure with transparent LED-lit kayaks, complemented by a stunning light show featuring Sharjah’s whales.

A spectacle of light and innovation

Alongside these incredible shows, the festival includes “The Journey of Light of Knowledge and Culture” at Sharjah Mosque, “Environmental Brilliance” at Al Majaz Waterfront, and “Nexus Dream” at Al Hamriyah Beach. Other installations, such as “Shadows of Innovation” at Bee’ah Group headquarters and the “Pillars of Unity” show at Aljada Park, further enhance the light festival experience.

Continuing until February 23

Attracting tens of thousands of visitors, the festival concludes on February 16, with its closing show celebrating Sharjah’s cultural heritage and architectural beauty. The “Village of Lights” activities will continue until February 23, offering an opportunity for small and medium enterprises to showcase unique experiences for diverse visitors.
