Sharjah24: The activities of the second Dibba Al Hisn Sports Festival concluded on Tuesday evening at the Heritage Village, after two days of events that attracted a large audience from the residents and dignitaries of Dibba Al-Hisn.
The final day kicked off with enjoyable performances, including a show by the Al-Awaid Military Band, Kahoot competitions, rhythmic gymnastics, an acrobatics troupe, captivating Russian performances, and a variety of contests and surprises. Attendees also participated in beach volleyball, basketball, shooting, table tennis, and traditional folk games.
Awards and recognition
At the conclusion of the festival, Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Al-Mutawa, Chairman of the Dibba Al-Hisn Cultural and Sports Club and Head of the Organizing Committee, along with Mohammed Abdullah Al-Tarban Al-Hamoudi, Chairman of the Dibba Al-Hisn Football Club, honored the sponsoring companies and institutions, as well as the winners in various sports and cultural activities.
Celebrating success
Dr. Al-Mutawa expressed his pride and appreciation for the success of this remarkable sports and cultural event. He noted that the festival's success reflects the collaborative efforts of all participating elements, alongside the support and sponsorship from the Sharjah Sports Council and the involvement of local departments in the virtuous city. He concluded by stating, "We are proud of the efforts and work exhibited by the youth, and we hope this event becomes an annual occurrence in the same location, evolving day by day.
