The closing ceremony was attended by Sheikh Sultan bin Abdullah Al Qasimi, Director of the Department of Statistics and Community Development; Issa Hilal Al Hazami, Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council; Khalid Issa Al Midfa, Chairman of the club’s board; and Mohammed Ali Al Qaseer, Director-General, alongside committee members and parents.
Over 100 participants
More than 100 boys aged 7 to 17 took part in the programme. The club’s Cultural Events and Community Sports Committee successfully managed the activities.
The programme included field visits, lectures, and games. Participants toured landmarks such as Sharjah Fort and Sharjah Classic Cars Club and took part in internal competitions.
Community visits
The students visited the Elderly Care Home and the University Hospital in Sharjah, distributing gifts to patients. The Civil Defence delivered public safety lectures, and workshops covered environmental awareness and artificial intelligence.
Closing celebration
The final day featured performances and sports demonstrations by the students, with prizes awarded to winners.
Khalid Issa Al Midfa said the programme achieved its goals and fostered a spirit of creativity, discipline, and teamwork among participants.
Future plans
He thanked His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs, for their support. saying the camp marks the beginning of further growth and development.
Al Midfa also thanked the Sharjah Sports Council, the event committee, parents, staff, volunteers, and the participants.
