Sharjah Pearls Exhibition highlights natural pearls from UAE

Sharjah24: Mona Al Suwaidi, Executive Director of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and head of the "UAE Jewelers" platform, has announced the launch of the "Sharjah Pearls Exhibition" for the first time. This event will take place under the umbrella of the UAE Jewelers platform, participating in the Jewels Of Emirates Show.

Exhibition highlights

Al-Suwaidi stated that the "UAE Jewelers" platform is participating in the sixth edition of the Jewels Of Emirates Show 2025. During this event, the "Sharjah Pearls Exhibition" will showcase the allure of natural pearls from the seas of Sharjah. Participating designers from "UAE Jewelers" will present a comprehensive competition featuring the best and latest jewelry pieces crafted from natural pearls sourced from Al Suwaidi's farm.

Competition and participation

Approximately 150 designers participated in the competition, with winners to be announced at the exhibition's conclusion. The "UAE Jewelers" platform features 10 Emirati designers showcasing the latest designs inspired by pearls, gemstones, and jewelry. Al Suwaidi invites visitors and those interested in gold, gemstones, and natural pearls to explore the exhibition, which presents some of the finest and rarest natural pearls in Sharjah, including unique silver and golden pearls known for their high quality, clarity, and exceptional luster.

Discussion session

Al Suwaidi also highlighted the participation of "UAE Jewelers" in several events at the Jewels Of Emirates Show, including a discussion session titled "The UAE: Pearl Coast Through the Ages." This session will explore the historical potential of the UAE's coasts in supplying the world with the finest types of pearls and contributing to their trade, while also shedding light on the pearl diving profession, which is a vital part of the UAE's rich heritage.
