Finnish ambassador hails Sharjah’s education at TEAMS Awards

Sharjah24: Tuula Yrjola, Ambassador of the Republic of Finland to the UAE, attended the TEAMS 2023 award ceremony in Sharjah, where she conveyed her appreciation for the emirate’s education system. In a special interview with "Sharjah 24," she underscored the importance of this achievement, stressing the commitment and teamwork that played a crucial role in the success.

Yrjola expressed her honour in attending the ceremony and her delight that Finland could contribute—even modestly—to supporting teacher education in Sharjah. She emphasised that the TEAMS 2023 award reflected the dedication, teamwork, and enthusiasm for education demonstrated by educators, students, and the whole school system.
