Sharjah24: In preparation for the second Dibba Al-Hisn Sports Club Festival, scheduled to take place on February 6 and 7, a third organising committee meeting was held on Friday morning, chaired by Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Al-Mutawa, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dibba Al-Hisn Sports and Cultural Club and Head of the Festival Organising Committee.
The meeting was attended by Mohammed Abdullah Rashid Al-Turbaan Al-Hamoudi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dibba Al-Hisn Football Club, along with Ahmed Ali Al-Salman and Youssef Al-Hosani, members of the Sharjah Sports Council.

The festival is expected to include a series of sports, cultural, and social activities that will attract all segments of the community, focusing on innovative entertainment programs and engaging various community entities to achieve the set goals.

A large number of representatives from government entities in the city of Dibba Al-Hisn attended the meeting, along with strategic partners and representatives from the Department of Culture at the Dibba Al-Hisn office, the police, the municipality, and the Social Services Department, Dibba Al-Hisn branch. During the meeting, reports from various committees were reviewed regarding what has been accomplished so far, along with new proposals and ideas aimed at enhancing the events and activities included in the festival agenda.

Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Al-Mutawa emphasised the importance of making the Dibba Al-Hisn Sports Club Festival a prominent annual event that reflects the club's sports, cultural, and social development. He noted that the festival aims to enhance the club's position as a key player in serving the local community. He also explained that the festival's activities will contribute to a qualitative leap for the club and provide an opportunity to showcase its diverse contributions, thus supporting its leading position among sports and cultural clubs in the region.
