Dibba Al Hisn Club empowers youth with ethical values

Sharjah24: Dibba Al-Hisn Sports Club and Dibba Al-Hisn Football Club organised an awareness lecture titled "Unacceptable Sporting Behaviors" as part of a series of programmes and initiatives aimed at building a new generation of competitive sports leaders for the under-15 football team. This initiative aims to enhance positive behaviors among young players and instill noble sporting values.

The lecture, presented by Khalid Abdul Majeed, emphasised the importance of adhering to sports ethics and avoiding unacceptable behaviors that could negatively impact the team and the sporting community. It included discussions on real-life sports situations and practical guidance on handling pressure and difficult situations with a sportsmanlike spirit. Several important topics were addressed, such as respectful and fair treatment of referees, constructive interaction with the audience, and the significance of collaborating with the coaching, administrative, and medical staff to achieve team integration.

Importance of Sports Ethics and Behavior

The lecture also highlighted various unsportsmanlike behaviors that may occur on the field, along with presenting live examples of high sportsmanship and how to adopt them as a consistent behavioral pattern.

Furthermore, a series of monthly lectures will be held covering all age groups and sports disciplines. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Tarban Al-Hamoudi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dibba Al-Hisn Football Club, stated that these activities are part of the club's comprehensive vision aimed at building conscious sports generations equipped with both technical skills and moral values. He reiterated that the club is constantly striving to develop the cultural and behavioral aspects of players as an integral part of its strategies.
