Mohammed bin Khalid Al Qasimi Handball Championship kicks off

Sharjah 24: The eighth edition of the Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalid Al Qasimi International Handball Championship kicked off on Wednesday, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Vice Chairman of the Sharjah Executive Council, and hosted by Sharjah Sports Club in cooperation with the Sharjah Sports Council.

The opening ceremony was attended by His Excellency Sheikh Majid bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Member of the Sharjah Executive Council and Chairman of the Districts Affairs Department, Sheikh Mohammed bin Humaid Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Department of Statistics and Community Development in the Emirate of Sharjah, His Excellency Issa Hilal Al Hazami, Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council, His Excellency Khalid Issa Al Midfa, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sharjah Sports Club, a number of officials, and representatives of the participating teams.

With the participation of 8 clubs representing 3 continents

The event is held with the participation of 8 clubs representing 3 continents, namely, Sharjah, Mleiha, and Dibba Al Hisn from the UAE, Kazma from Kuwait, Zamalek from Egypt, Etoile du Sahel, African from Tunisia, and MT team from Germany.
