Mohammed bin Humaid Al Qasimi honours Quran and Sunnah winners

Sultan Matar bin Dalmouk, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Foundation, expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah for his unlimited support for Sharjah Noble Quran and Sunnah Establishment.

1464 memorisation circles in Sharjah and the Eastern Region

Bin Dalmouk explained that the establishment supervised, until the end of 2024, 1,464 memorisation circles spread across the Emirate, in the city of Sharjah and in the cities of the Eastern Region in Kalba, Khorfakkan and Dibba Al Hisn and in the Central Region in Al Dhaid, Al Bataeh, Al Madam and Mleiha, from which 32,636 male and female students benefit, striving to memorise the Book of Allah and learn its rulings.

Adhering to Quran and Sunnah values

Bin Dalmouk pointed out that the efforts of Sharjah Noble Quran and Sunnah Establishment were not limited to that, but rather launched ten qualitative initiatives that complement its efforts and serve all age groups of both genders for all groups and raise the level of memorisation in the Emirate of Sharjah, and provide educational and educational programmes that contribute to building an aware generation that adheres to its values.

Bin Dalmouk explained that one of the most prominent achievements of the Foundation is the launch of the Quranic Awards that aim to encourage the memorisation and recitation of the Holy Quran and the understanding of the Sunnah of the Prophet. The establishment has organised many competitions, including Sharjah Quran and Sunnah Award, the Ramadan Award for the Holy Quran for Sharjah Government Employees, the Central Region Award, the Eastern Region Award, and others that saw wide participation from different age groups, reflecting the community's love for the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him.

The attendees watched a presentation that shed light on important aspects of the Establishment’s efforts to organise and establish Sharjah Quran and Sunnah Award, and its pioneering role in encouraging the memorisation and learning of the Quran in society, and what the award's journey has witnessed, including its sections and branches, and its continuous development.

Two of the participants then presented Quranic recitations as a model of the readings of the winners of this year's competition.

Winners of Awards and Values

Sheikh Dr. Aziz bin Farhan Al Anzi, Chairman of the Judging Committee of the Prophetic Sunnah Competition, delivered a speech in which he praised the success of the award and its message and discussed the importance of the Holy Quran and Sunnah competitions in memorising the Book of Allah and the Prophetic Hadiths and in raising generations on the valuable religion.

The Chairman of the Prophetic Sunnah Competition Committee congratulated the winners, calling on them to study the Quran, contemplate it, adopt its morals and act upon it, and continue to adhere to and understand the Sunnah of the Prophet. He thanked all those in charge of the award and those who contributed to its accomplishment.

During his speech, he praised the level of participants in memorising the hadiths of the competition in its various branches, and stressed that Sharjah Quran and Sunnah Award, which sees remarkable participation, calls for pride and admiration for the good results it has achieved throughout its organisation, especially since it has produced a generation that has memorised the Holy Quran in addition to memorising the Prophetic Hadith.

Al Anzi praised the support and care given by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, to Sharjah Quran and Sunnah Award, and His Highness's keenness to provide the award with all the capabilities to make it one of the most important awards in the UAE and to enable promising generations to memorise the Holy Quran and understand and apply the Sunnah of the Chosen One.

Continuous efforts

Sheikh Mohammed bin Humaid Al Qasimi, accompanied by His Excellency Sultan Mattar bin Dalmouk, and Omar Al Shamsi, Director of Sharjah Noble Quran and Sunnah Establishment, honoured the winners of the twenty-seventh edition of Sharjah, to Sharjah Quran and Sunnah Award.

At the beginning of the ceremony, Sheikh Mohammed bin Humaid Al Qasimi presented commemorative shields to all the sponsoring and supporting entities and figures of Sharjah Noble Quran and Sunnah Establishment and the award, and honoured the arbitration committees.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Humaid Al Qasimi presented certificates of appreciation to the winners in each of the Holy Quran competitions, which included the category of imams and memorisers, the branch of the entire Holy Quran, and the general category in the branches of the entire Holy Quran, twenty parts, ten parts for citizens, ten parts for residents, 5 parts for citizens, and 5 parts for residents, in addition to the category of senior citizens and people of determination with disabilities.

During the ceremony, the best circles and centres at the level of the Emirate of Sharjah, the best circles at the level of the Eastern Region and the Central Region, in addition to the members of the judging committees for the Holy Quran and Sunnah competitions were also honoured.

At the end of the ceremony, Sheikh Mohammed bin Humaid Al Qasimi received a commemorative shield from Sharjah Noble Quran and Sunnah Establishment in appreciation of his attendance at the ceremony and honouring the winners.
