HQA obtains 3 ISO certificates for integrated management

Sharjah 24: The Holy Quran Academy (HQA) in Sharjah has obtained three ISO certificates for Integrated Management System (IMS), including ISO 9001 for Integrated Quality Management System, ISO 45001 for Occupational Health and Safety Management System, and ISO 22301 for Business Continuity Management, from the British company Intertek.

The certificates were received by His Excellency Dr. Eng. Khalifa Musabah Al Tunaiji, Chairman of the Academy, in the presence of His Excellency Dr. Abdullah Khalaf Al Hosani, Secretary General of the Academy, and a number of department directors.

Embodying the vision of Sharjah Ruler

His Excellency Khalifa Musabah Al Tunaiji praised the efforts of the team at the academy, which resulted in obtaining these three certificates, calling for the continuation of these achievements that would achieve sustainable excellence, embodying the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, which focuses on innovation, creativity and quality in serving the Holy Quran and its sciences, and readiness to deal with rapid changes, to develop the scientific, educational and museum system of the academy.

Excellence approach

He added that the success of the academy in obtaining three ISO certificates in integrated management is a translation of the excellence approach adopted by the complex to achieve leadership in providing services and comprehensive quality management.

It also constitutes a new qualitative addition to its record of successes, reflecting its constant interest in applying the highest standards and best international practices in comprehensive management, in completion of the performance quality system it targets, and in enhancement of its efforts to achieve further development of the business performance mechanism in the complex’s three pillars: the Sharjah International Electronic Recitation Hall, scientific studies and research, and Quranic museums, to comply with the requirements of an effective system for leadership in all services provided by the academy.
