Sharjah 24: Al Qassimi Hospital in Sharjah, affiliated with Emirates Health Services, achieved an unparalleled medical milestone by successfully saving the life of a patient suffering from severe pneumonia and persistent lung blockage. The hospital significantly improved the patient's condition and discharged her from critical care in excellent health by using a new pulmonary pressure measuring catheter through the oesophagus.

This method increased diagnostic accuracy and treatment precision, allowing us to properly treat the patient's complicated disease and preserve her life.

Thanks to the new technique, the patient gradually improved and was discharged from critical care in stable and good health, paving the way for future advances in the field.
