Al Furjan Theatre 2024 offers platform for community creativity

Al Qasaisha Park will host performances with the theme "A family that loves theatre" from January 3–5, 2025, offering a unique opportunity to blend creative expression with a sense of community.

The performances represent the culmination of more than 30 teams' tireless efforts during the year 2024. Five groups representing different Sharjah areas participated in the Al Furjan Theatre project.

From 5 to 9 p.m. every day, there will be a wide variety of theatrical acts. There will be six performances hosted by members of the Rubu' Qarn Centre for Theatre and Performing Arts, as well as competitive acts put on by Sharjah's local talents. 

A judging panel will choose a winner. The goal of the initiative is to encourage imagination and participation in Sharjah's communities via the medium of theatre.

"Al Furjan Theatre" dedicates itself to facilitating specific courses that aim to identify and mentor aspiring artists. 

The project's secondary objective is to increase membership in Rubu' Qarn institutions via the development of new members' theatrical abilities and the promotion of the institutions' function in encouraging community involvement.

This endeavor serves as a venue for social and cultural exchange, bringing people together through shared interests in entertainment and education and fostering stronger ties in the neighborhood.  The theatre fortifies relationships among families and communities, further cementing its role as an outlet for artistic expression.
