Sharjah24: Sharjah Women's Sports Club delivered outstanding performances during the third stage of the UAE Archery League, which took place on December 28–29, 2024, featuring participation from leading clubs throughout the Emirates. The tournament showcased exciting competitions in both recurve and compound bow categories, where athletes demonstrated remarkable and sophisticated performances.

Record-breaking victory in compound bow

In the women's compound bow category, Amina Yousef Al Awadi showcased her exceptional talent in the women's compound bow category, securing the gold medal and surpassing her own national record established at the second International Archery Championship. Amina achieved an outstanding score of 692 points, reinforcing her position among the elite in the sport. After her record-breaking performance, she stated: "Once again breaking the national record is a testament to the hard work and rigorous training at the club." I consistently aim to enhance my skills with each involvement. This accomplishment inspires me to pursue even higher levels of success on a global scale.

Strong Performances in Recurve Bow

In the women's recurve bow category, Snehal Devakar claimed gold, with Maha Al Hosani taking silver and Hessa Al Awadi earning bronze, showcasing the impressive competition and skill on display.

Sara Ali Abdullah secured the silver medal in the recurve bow under-18 category, with Sheikha Abdulghani Al Ali taking home the bronze. Sara Adel Al Mazmi secured the gold medal in the under-18 compound bow category, highlighting her exceptional talent and prowess in the sport.

The tournament also highlighted several other promising young athletes.
