Kuwait and Oman draw 1-1 in Khaleeji Zain 26 Cup opener

Sharjah 24 – KUNA: Kuwait and Oman played to a 1-1 draw in the opening match of the Khaleeji Zain 26 Arabian Gulf Football Cup Group A at Jaber International Stadium on Saturday.
Kuwait's Yousef Nasser scored the opener in the 34th minute with a header from a cross by Mishari Ghannam. However, Oman equalized just a minute later through Issam Al-Sabhi, who capitalized on a cross to score.
Kuwait will face the UAE in their next match on Tuesday, while Oman will play Qatar on the same day.
