Sharjah24: In an effort to nurture a generation of aware and impactful young leaders capable of contributing to the future, Sharjah Youth and Sajaya Girls of Sharjah, both part of the Rubu’ Qarn Foundation for Creating Future Leaders and Innovators, are organising "Gulf Bridges – the Gulf Youth Leadership Programme." The programme, now in its first edition, kicks off on Sunday, December 22, 2024, following its approval at the 37th meeting of the Ministers of Youth and Sports of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.
The programme aims to host a select group of young leaders from the Gulf region, aged between 15 and 18, providing them with a conducive environment to cultivate leadership skills. It aligns with the visions and aspirations of the GCC governments, fostering their participation in building a sustainable future for the region. This reflects the pivotal role of the Rubu’ Qarn Foundation for Creating Future Leaders and Innovators in preparing young people and shaping their well-rounded character, empowering them to join the ranks of future leaders.

The programme emphasises key areas such as personal development, digital literacy, and global citizenship, along with sustainability. Over the course of a week, participants will engage in a variety of workshops led by experts in leadership development, along with site visits and tours showcasing Sharjah’s pioneering initiatives and development projects. The goal is to foster constructive collaboration and effective communication among participants, aiming to develop their well-rounded characters according to global standards.
