The event will be launched on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at the headquarters of the Rubu' Qarn Science and Technology Centre.
The event aims to shed light on inspiring role models in society, to motivate young people to emulate them and benefit from their life experiences. It also seeks to provide encouraging messages that help young people work hard to achieve their goals and contribute to the advancement of the UAE at the local and international levels.
The current edition is in line with the UAE's declaration of 2024 as the Year of Sustainability, whereas it focuses on raising young people's awareness of the importance of sustainable practices to build a bright future.
Within this context, Ahmed Lootah, known for his experience in media, security sciences, and criminal systems, was chosen as the Inspiring Leader of the Year. Lootah has participated in local and international fora, including media fora, cultural exchange trips, and global sustainability goals conferences, in addition to his contributions to humanitarian work and his membership in youth parliaments.
During the event, Lootah will share his vision on sustainability in a panel discussion, answering questions from the audience to promote communication and exchange ideas about the planet sustainability. The panel aims to support the UAE’s efforts to make sustainability the cornerstone of its future.
