Sharjah24: The Sharjah Sports Council (SSC) participates in the first international conference on physical literacy held in the Kingdom of Bahrain from the 1st to the 3rd of December, organised by the Bahrain Olympic Committee in collaboration with the University of Bahrain and the Canadian Organisation for Physical Literacy.
The council's delegation includes Dr. Abdullah bin Mulaih, a member of the board of directors, Omran Mohammed Al Jasmi, head of the talented department at the Sports and Development Affairs Administration, Khaled Abdullah Al Janibi, head of the strategic planning department, and Bakheet Saeed Al Qars, the office manager of the council president.
The conference addresses several topics that emphasize the importance of awareness about physical fitness and health and their vital role in improving quality of life. Four experts from Canada and the United Kingdom, as well as speakers from the University of Bahrain and the Bahrain Olympic Committee, will be speaking at the conference.
The council's participation aims to ensure involvement in various external sports events and activities, reflecting positively on skill development and experience acquisition.
