The new service strengthens air connectivity between the United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom, offering customers affordable, convenient travel while further expanding Air Arabia’s growing network from Sharjah.

Celebrating the new route launch, inaugural ceremonies were held at both Sharjah International Airport and London Gatwick Airport. The event at Sharjah International Airport was attended by Ali Salim Al Midfa, Chairman of the Sharjah Airport Authority and Sheikh Faisal bin Saud Al Qasimi, Director of the Sharjah Airport Authority (SAA) alongside representatives of the British Embassy in the UAE and Air Arabia senior leadership, marking the commencement of the new service and reinforcing the growing tourism, trade and economic ties between the United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom.

This new route creates a direct air bridge with one of the world's most prominent capitals, expanding travel options for passengers and reinforcing Sharjah Airport’s status as a regional hub for air connectivity. It also reflects our continued commitment to expanding our destination network and enhancing the travel experience in line with the highest international standards."

Flights to London Gatwick are operated by Air Arabia’s Airbus A321neo LR aircraft, combining extended range with enhanced passenger comfort and improved fuel efficiency.

Air Arabia operates a modern fleet comprised entirely of Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft.
