Sharjah24: The Sharjah Police General Command marked Commemoration Day with a heartfelt ceremony held this morning at its headquarters. The event was attended by His Excellency Major General Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, along with senior officials, department heads, and police personnel.
The commemoration began at 8:30 a.m. with the ceremonial lowering of the UAE flag. At 11:30 a.m., attendees observed a minute of silence to honor the martyrs, followed by the raising of the flag and the playing of the UAE national anthem. This significant national event underscores the sacrifices of the country’s martyrs, who embodied ultimate loyalty and dedication by giving their lives for the nation.
During his address, Major General bin Amer highlighted that Commemoration Day serves as a symbol of national unity and a meaningful occasion to express profound gratitude and pride in the sacrifices of the martyrs.
