Sharjah24: Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, affirmed that Commemoration Day, observed on November 30th each year, represents a deep expression of loyalty and love for the nation's martyrs. These brave souls defended the honour and dignity of the country, ascending to paradise as they made the ultimate sacrifice in service to their homeland, elevating its status and proudly raising its flag.
In his remarks for Commemoration Day, Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasim stated, "On this day, we express our pride in the sacrifices made by the sons of the UAE, whose acts inspire the coming generations with lessons and values. A nation is built by the hands of its people and their sacrifices, keeping the country's flag flying high in the halls of glory and honour. The United Arab Emirates, since its founding, under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan., President of the UAE, continues to invest in its people, making them the cornerstone of its progress and development, and the protective shield for its land, offering everything valuable to uphold its flag and safeguard its people and achievements."
He added, " "May Allah have mercy on the martyrs of our nation and grant them eternal peace in His vast paradise. We honour their sacrifice for the nation, and we are grateful to have sons who were willing to give their lives for the elevation of its flag."
