Sharjah24: The Norway national team overwhelmed their hosts, Slovenia, with a score of 4-1 in the fifth round of Group C in the second tier of the UEFA Nations League.
Norway increased their points tally to 10, placing them second on goal difference behind the leader, Austria, with one round remaining in the group stage.
On the other hand, Slovenia's points remain at 7, putting them in third place, 3 points behind Austria and Norway, and 6 points ahead of Kazakhstan, who sits in fourth and last place.
Antonio Nusa opened the scoring for Norway in the fourth minute, while Benjamin Šeško equalized for Slovenia with a penalty in the 21st minute. Erling Haaland then added Norway's second goal just before halftime.
In the 59th minute, Nusa scored his second goal and Norway's third, while Jens Peter Hauge capped off the scoring with the fourth goal in the 82nd minute.
