Sharjah24: Manchester City continued their streak of defeats for the fourth consecutive match, losing to hosts Brighton with a score of 1-2 in the 11th round of the English Premier League.
Manchester City took the lead with a goal from Erling Haaland in the 23rd minute, bringing the Norwegian striker's tally to 12 goals, placing him at the top of the competition's scorers.
However, Brighton turned the tables on their guests in the second half with two goals from substitutes João Pedro and Matt O'Reilly in the 78th and 83rd minutes.

With this loss, Manchester City's points remain at 23, keeping them in second place and allowing leaders Liverpool, with 25 points, to extend their lead.
Brighton, on the other hand, raised their points to 19, placing them fourth, recovering from losses to Liverpool in the league and the League Cup, as well as a draw with Wolverhampton in the league.
