Sharjah24: The Sharjah Directorate of Human Resource (SDHR) conducted a session named "Building Flexible and Sustainable Work Environments" at the Sharjah Maritime Academy (SMA) located in Khorfakkan. This session is included in the "Visions for Sustainable Leadership" series, which promotes the importance of enhancing and fostering positivity in work environments.
Directors, officials, and employees from multiple Sharjah government departments in the Eastern Region arrived for the session.
Under the leadership of Major Asim Al Awais, who heads the Officers' Performance Evaluation Branch at Sharjah Police, the session addressed four key topics. It emphasised sustainability, the fundamentals of establishing a flexible work environment, and the importance of leadership in defining objectives for employees. Furthermore, it explored strategies to promote concepts and actions that foster sustainable leadership in organisations.
The session examined how stereotypes and employee perspectives affect performance, emphasizing creativity, collaboration, and tackling workplace challenges. It highlighted comprehensive planning’s role in sustaining productivity and managing distractions, along with strategies for time management aimed at delivering high-quality results.
The Sharjah HR Department is dedicated to continuing this series, in line with the leadership’s vision for enhancing institutional performance in human resources. The department is focused on establishing a platform that facilitates the sharing of valuable insights from experts and practitioners, emphasising best practices for cultivating effective work environments.
