The event began with a reading of poetry by Dr. Ibrahim Borshashan, a professor at the Mohamed bin Zayed University for Human Sciences. "Sailing in the Eyes of Houris" is the title of the collection. His writings, especially "A Lover of Letters," eloquently captured the magic and emotion of language.
The poem "Love in the Time of Borders" by Khaled Al-Naimi, from his collection "The Queen's Last Crossing," conveys a mix of yearning and nostalgia. He movingly depicted the difficulties of love in a fragmented world.
As the night came to a close, Mohamed Al-Mheiri offered a moving ode to his parents in "The Light of a Writer's Life," a poem from his collection "My Love Book." His remarks lauded the eternal commitment to one's family.
The poetry night was an incredible success, touching and inspiring everyone in the crowd. The poets' mastery of language and imagery demonstrated how poetry can break down barriers and unite people.
