The project is implemented periodically in cooperation with volunteer teams from community members, including university students in addition to volunteer teams and members of the Foundation.
The maintenance work on the two homes took about two weeks, during which painting and necessary repairs were carried out according to the needs of the orphans. Work also included initial cleaning operations for the first home and getting rid of old furniture and replacing it with new furniture.
In this context, Aisha Salem, Head of the Social Research Department, confirmed that the Foundation’s interest in the livelihood of orphans is an essential part of the services provided to them. Aisha Salem added that “Jodran” also helps alleviate the psychological pressures they may be exposed to as a result of losing their father. In addition, it supports their education and psychological health, which enhances their ability to focus on their studies in a calm and safe environment, and also helps them integrate socially and develop their personality, which contributes to building self-confident orphans, capable of growing and interacting positively with society.

By integrating orphans into volunteer work, they acquired the values of giving, compassion, solidarity and social solidarity. This work also enhanced their mental health and increased their sense of happiness, which leads to the formation of generations aware of the importance of cooperation, and a giving society that provides good for all.
