Sharjah24: The Rubu’ Qarn Foundation for Creating Leaders and Innovators will launch its “Rubu’ Qarn Season for Arts and Literature” from 9 to 14 November throughout the Emirate of Sharjah.
This remarkable cultural and artistic event will showcase the literary and artistic accomplishments of its members while also familiarising the community with the foundation’s affiliate institutions—Sharjah Children, the Sajaya Young Ladies of Sharjah, Sharjah Youth, and Sharjah Capability Development.
The foundation actively engages in discovering, nurturing, and harnessing the talents of children, youth, and young adults within a creative and innovation-driven environment through these initiatives.
This season focuses on participants aged 6 to 30 and provides the public with an opportunity to discover program outcomes highlighted throughout the year, encompassing theatre, performing arts, music, film, fine arts, and literature.
The “Rubu’ Qarn Season” agenda begins on Saturday, 9 November, featuring theatre performances and workshops at 5 p.m. at the Rubu’ Qarn Centre for Theatre and Performing Arts, Zahia Theatre. Featured activities encompass a puppet workshop, the performance "City of Knowledge," silent storytelling, a pantomime show, and a photography exhibition in the outdoor square of Khor Fakkan Amphitheatre.
On Sunday, 10 November, the Rubu’ Qarn Centre for Music will hold an encouragement concert for its members, while Sajaya Young Ladies of Sharjah will present the 10th Rubu’ Qarn Visual Arts Forum on 9 and 10 November at the Hanging Gardens in Kalba. The forum will present the works of Rubu’ Qarn affiliates, Sharjah Girl Guides, and FUNN, the media discovery platform, beginning at 6 p.m.
For those who appreciate literature and poetry, a series of engaging programs will take place on Tuesday and Thursday, 12 and 14 November. These events will showcase literary talents in poetry and short stories, along with inspiring experiences, competitions, and riddles.
