Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Islamic Forum concluded its lecture series titled "Moderation and Cultural Identity" with a strong turnout from students at the University of Sharjah and Al Qasimia University.
The Forum’s series aimed to foster national awareness and instill the values of moderation and cultural identity in university youth, aligning with the forum’s mission to cultivate a generation proud of its heritage and capable of representing Emirati societal values.

The first lecture, led by Dr. Turki Al-Qahtani, Assistant Professor at Mohamed Bin Zayed University for Humanities, focused on "Cultural Identity and Moderation: Their Concept and Relationship." Dr. Al-Qahtani explored the importance of moderation as a core value for societal coexistence and diversity, using the Emirati experience as a model. 

The second lecture, by Dr. Mahdi Qais Al-Janabi, Associate Professor of Interpretation and Quranic Sciences at the University of Sharjah, addressed "Techniques for Protecting Societal Principles from Encroachment," offering practical models for safeguarding core values.
