Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Police General Command joined the nation in celebrating Flag Day. At precisely 11 a.m., His Excellency Brigadier Ahmed Haji Al Sarkal, Director General of Police Operations, raised the country’s flag at the command building, accompanied by the national anthem played by the Sharjah for Police Academy Band.
The event was attended by Directors General, their deputies, department heads, senior officers, and other command members.
On this occasion, His Excellency Major General Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, emphasised that this significant day reflects our pride in the UAE flag, which symbolies glory and unity. He noted the dedication and loyalty of the Emirati people, who have advanced the nation's achievements under wise leadership.
Bin Amer reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing the security and stability of the homeland and prayed for the continued blessings of safety and prosperity for the UAE and its citizens.
