Sharjah24: Dr. Luc Verburgh, Chief Academic Officer of the Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT), expressed his enthusiasm for participating in the HCT Career Fair, where over 80 companies were eager to recruit HCT graduates.
"This event is part of a broader initiative to better align industry needs with our educational programs," Dr. Verburgh stated. "We aim not only to host career fairs but also to enhance our students' preparedness for the jobs of the future."
Dr. Verburgh affirmed that to achieve this goal, HCT has introduced apprenticeship programs and updated the content of its curricula. Additionally, the institution has recruited top-notch faculty to support these changes.
"As a result, we are witnessing an increasing number of our graduates successfully entering the workforce in positions that align with our vision," Dr. Verburgh added, highlighting the growing synergy between education and industry.
