Sharjah24: Mleiha Sports Club reached an impressive milestone at the end of the Apex Swimming Championship, which took place last night at Al Hamriyah Club. The club’s swimmers showed remarkable abilities and delivered an impressive performance.
The swimmers of Mleiha Sports Club secured a total of 32 medals: 18 gold, 10 silver, and 4 bronze, showcasing their commitment and hard work in the lead-up to the tournament. This accomplishment highlights Mleiha Sports Club’s significant position in the swimming arena and enhances its standing as a top-tier sports club, as they prepare to participate in forthcoming tournaments with aspirations for additional victories.
Moreover, a number of exceptional swimmers were recognised: Taha Baqdeedi was awarded the Best Player in the 14-year-old category, and Ahmed Hatem received the Best Player award in the 12-year-old category, highlighting the impressive talent and performance within these age groups.
Hamad bin Tamim Al Ketbi, a member of the Mleiha Sports Club Board of Directors and Chairman of the Sports Committee, conveyed his pride in the club’s accomplishments, emphasising that these successes are a testament to the swimmers' dedication and tireless efforts. The club has confirmed its ongoing commitment to supporting its swimmers, focussing on enhancing their skills for upcoming competitions.
