This initiative seeks to equip the Sharjah Police Headquarters with highly skilled officers for both field and administrative roles while promoting scientific and academic partnerships with police colleges and institutes at home and abroad.
Colonel Dr Ahmed Al Shehhi, the Dean of the Academy, led a delegation from Dubai Police Academy, and he made these remarks during his reception. The delegation comprised Lt. Colonel Khalaf Al Shamsi, Director of Academic and Behavioural Guidance; Lt. Colonel Khalifa Al Kaabi, Director of Logistics Services; and Dr. Ibtisam Al Awadhi, Director of Graduate Studies. Several department heads from the Sharjah Police Academy attended the meeting.
The purpose of the visit was to share best practices, strengthen collaboration, and refine coordination between the two institutions. The delegation examined several sections of the academy, such as the education and graduate studies building, the training facilities, and the shooting range. The participants received an overview of the academic curriculum and military field training provided at the Sharjah Police Academy.
The delegation conveyed their appreciation for the exceptional academic and training standards upheld by the Academy, commending its extensive expertise. Their emphasis was on the Dubai Police Academy’s initiatives to carry out benchmarking studies and implement new models aimed at enhancing its programs, while also recognising the cordial reception and collaboration provided by the Sharjah Police Academy.
