At the beginning of the meeting, He SEDD Chairman welcomed the delegation, stressing the necessity of holding such meetings, given their importance and major role in enhancing coordination between the two sides and accelerating development processes. Additionally, He praised the prominent role played by the two parties in serving the emirate, pointing out that SEDD pays great attention to attaining sustainable development in accordance with the Sharjah Government’s strategy. Also, He illustrated that these meetings help in achieving common goals that serve the public interest and strengthen joint cooperation in a way that contributes to enhancing and improving the performance of the national economy, supporting the competitiveness of various economic sectors, and creating an environment that encourages investment, which in turn contributes to raising the level of attractiveness for more businesses to the emirate.
During the meeting, the two parties discussed common issues and mechanisms and ways to enhance this cooperation in order to provide all capabilities to the business sector, investors and customers to contribute to achieving sustainable development in a way that serves all sectors in Sharjah and implements the directives of the wise leadership in the emirate.
By the end of the meeting, the two parties stressed on the importance of enhancing cooperation and coordination between them, which would contribute to developing the mutual work system and achieving the comprehensive and sustainable development goals that the emirate aspires to, and which would benefit the society.
