Sharjah 24: Alya Al Matroushi, Media Coordinator at The Big Heart Foundation, confirmed that Expo Centre Sharjah hosted, on Saturday, an event, as part of the national campaign “UAE stands with Lebanon,” witnessing great local efforts, along with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and charitable associations, and active participation from all segments of society.
She reported that Expo Centre Sharjah hosted the event, as part of the national campaign "UAE stands with Lebanon", which aims to provide urgent humanitarian aid to the Lebanese people. This campaign was distinguished by the rapid response of the UAE to Lebanon.
She added to “Sharjah 24” that there are great efforts being made in Sharjah, whether local efforts or the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as well as charitable institutions and associations, as well as humanitarian efforts from various segments of society and volunteers, confirming the values of the United Arab Emirates and the values of its residents.
She pointed out that with the approach of winter, the relief packages included food, health and personal supplies for all family members, which the affected people in Lebanon need.
