Sharjah 24: The Women's Sports Club Archery Team from Sharjah secured 15 medals in total at the conclusion of their participation in the first stage of the UAE Archery League Championship, which was held over two days at the Sharjah Police Officers Club. The medals included 7 golds, 2 silvers, and 6 bronzes.
The seven gold medals were awarded to Alia Faisal in the recurve bow, Alia Issam Al Shamsi in the compound bow (junior category), Samia Odiniva in the recurve bow (young girls category), Sarah Al Mazmi in the compound bow, Noor Al Mazmi in the recurve bow (youth category), Amna Al Awadhi in the compound bow, and Sinehal Devkar in the recurve bow (women’s category).
The two silver medals went to Lilian Abdulrahman in the recurve bow and Moza Rashid Al Shamsi in the compound bow (junior category). The six bronze medals were won by Salama Abdel Ghani in the recurve bow, Shamma Rashid Al Shamsi in the compound bow (junior category), Hamda Al Awadhi in the recurve bow, Masa Al Darous in the compound bow (young girls category), Sarah Abdullah Ahmed in the recurve bow (youth category), and Mira Al Saigh in the recurve bow (women’s category)
The team was led by a coaching staff comprising Dilnoza Ahmadow, Zukhra Tajayeva, and Sinehal Devkar, alongside administrative supervisor Hajar Bshbsh. Other teams participating in the championship included Abu Dhabi Archery Club, Fujairah Martial Arts Club, and D Archers Club.
