Sharjah24: Sharjah Sports Council's football championship for youth under 10 years old will commence, featuring 100 players representing five clubs: Al Batayeh, Al Hamriyah, Dibba Al Hisn, Al Dhaid, and Al Mudam. The tournament will continue until December 24, with the top three winners being awarded trophies and medals.
The championship aims to discover and cultivate talented players by enhancing their skills through competition and fostering closer connections among club players. The first round will kick off with Dibba Al Hisn facing Al Hamriyah at the former's home ground, while Al Batayeh will host Al Dhaid, with matches starting at 4 PM. The second round will take place on Friday, November 1, where Al Mudam will host Dibba Al Hisn, and Al Hamriyah will welcome Al Batayeh, while Al Dhaid will have a bye that round.

The tournament regulations stipulate that each team must register 20 Emirati players, with all logistical and medical arrangements for the matches, as well as medical assessments for each player from the certified team. The matches will be played in a single round-robin format.

Mohammed Obaid Al Hossan, Director of Sports Affairs and Development at the council, emphasized the tournament's significant role in identifying talented players and continuing to elevate team performance. He noted that it has the ongoing support of His Excellency Issa Hilal, the council's chairman, and expressed hope for the success of the participants and the organizing team.
