Sharjah 24: In recognition of the vital role that creative self-expression plays in our lives, Sharjah Capability Development is pleased to announce the upcoming session of its "Art of Elevation" programme, titled "Elevated Footwear." This engaging workshop will take place from December 7 to 10, from 9 AM to 4 PM, in the Emirate of Sharjah.
The "Art of Elevation" programme aims to empower participants to redesign and upcycle their shoes, transforming them into unique creations that truly reflect their individual personalities and tastes. Attendees will learn the fundamentals of shoe design, covering everything from color selection to sewing techniques and reconstruction. This session not only focuses on practical skills but also fosters artistic expression, providing participants with the chance to bring their creative visions to life.
The programme is in collaboration with The SRGN Academy, one of the world’s foremost institutions specializing in shoemaking, and it will be led by Dominic Ciambrone, an expert in the field of shoemaking.
"Art of Elevation" is a year-round series of interactive workshops designed to enhance your skills in art, design, and fashion. Participants will utilise the latest techniques and tools to craft their artistic products, fostering innovation and personal growth.
