Sharjah24: A goalless draw dominated the match between Scotland and Portugal, while the Poland national team managed a difficult 3-3 draw against Croatia at home in Warsaw during the fourth round of Group A in the top tier of the UEFA Nations League.
At Hampden Park in Glasgow, Scotland failed to capitalize on playing in front of their home crowd, earning just one point against the visiting Portuguese team, which threatened the goal only three times throughout the two halves.

Both teams ended the match with clean sheets, each securing one point. The Portuguese team, champions of the first edition in 2019, increased their tally to 10 points, solidifying their lead in the group.

Meanwhile, Scotland remained at the bottom of the standings with just one point in fourth place, facing a strong threat of relegation to the second tier with two group stage matches remaining.

In another match held at the same time, Poland drew 3-3 at home against Croatia.

The hosts took an early lead with a goal from Piotr Zieliński in the fifth minute, but Croatia responded with three goals from Borna Sosa, Petar Sucic, and Martin Baturina in the 19th, 24th, and 26th minutes.

Poland narrowed the gap with a second goal from Nicola Zalewski in the 45th minute and equalized in the second half with another goal from Zalewski in the 68th minute.

Despite being a player down after their main goalkeeper, Dominik Livaković, was sent off in the 76th minute, Croatia managed to secure a point with substitute Nediljko Labrović helping to maintain the draw.

The Croatian team raised their points total to seven, remaining in second place and keeping their hopes alive for a semifinal spot, while Poland stayed in third place with four points.
